Marcella Crudeli – She is considered one of the most important Italian concert performers. She has performed over two thousand concerts in more than eighty different countries in five continents. Teacher of principal piano at the “S. Cecilia” Conservatorium in Rome and director of the “L. D’Annunzio” Conservatorium in Pescara, she has held advanced piano courses at the “Ecole Normale de Musique A. Cortot” in Paris and at the “Accademia Pescarese”. She has founded the “Scuola Superiore di Musica Marcella Crudeli”. Currently she is holding an advanced course at the “Schola Cantorum” in Paris. She is founder and president of the EPTA – Italy (European Piano Teachers Association) and is founder of the “F. Chopin” Association that organizes concerts, international courses as well as the International Piano Competition “Rome”. Marcella Crudeli holds many international prizes and recognitions, among which she was awarded Professor Emeritus at the Sakuyo College Tsuyama in Japan. She was nominated Cavaliere al Merito and Commendatore of the Italian Republic and she has received the gold medal and the first class diploma for the “Praiseworthy in the fields of education” by the President of the Italian Republic; she received the prestigious award “Paul Harris Tre Rubini” by the Rotary Club for her artistic and humanitarians prestige.
