Annamaria Garibaldi graduated in Piano at the Conservatory of Pescara and continued her studies with Marcella Crudeli obtaining the Diploma of High Specialization at the Music Academy of Pescara. She also graduated with full marks in Italian Literature at the University of Chieti, and in Substitute Conductor in the Operatic Repertoire at the Conservatory of Pescara. She attended courses of Education and Music Therapy given by Lombardi, Korn, Di Bari, Mutti; seminars of Piano Accompaniment in Operatic Repertoire by Oses, Balint, Ferraro; workshops for Substitutes Conductor held by Renzetti and Lucantoni; piano interpretation by Rattalino; orchestral rehearsal by Andrae, Florio, Lucantoni, Morricone, Bufalini, Agiman, Yanagisawa, Vidoni. She works like piano accompanist in high advanced courses held by members of the Orchestra Santa Cecilia. She is coordinator of the Internships at the Conservatory of Pescara and PhD at the University of Chieti.
She plays the role of president of ‘Do Centrale Association’, and she was a founding member of RATI (a network for Talent and Innovation). Togheter with the ‘Tango y màs Association’ she organizes four editions of the International Tango Festival in Macerata. She played at the Teatro Curci of Barletta, Accademia Pianistica di Imola, Amici della Musica of Ragusa, Trapani, Noto, Association Bellini Messina, ASAM Siracusa, Negri Sud Foundation in Lanciano, Teatro Vaccaj of Tolentino, Teatro Scaligero of Bari, the Sicily Jazz Festival of Catania, Teatro Lauro Rossi of Macerata, Accademia musicale di Cava dei Tirreni, Teatro Marrucino of Chieti, Millî Reasürans’s Concert Hall in Istanbul, Klasik Musik Festival of Bodrum, Parco della Musica in Rome, Teatro Marcello and Uruguayan Embassy in Rome.
In 2004 Annamaria forms the piano duo ‘Maclé’ together with Sabrina Dente. The duo studies under the guide of Marcella Crudeli at the Accademia Costantiniana of Rome. It wins prestigious awards and undertake an intense concert activity characterized by continuous research and attention to new music. Duo Maclé performs among others, at the Teatro della Gioventù in Genoa, the Miela in Trieste, Teatro delle Erbe, the Dal Verme Theater and the Palazzina Liberty in Milan, at the Auditorium del Gonfalone, the Teatro Valle and the Austrian Cultural Forum in Rome. The duo plays in various European Seasons and Institutions: Fundación Segovia at Linares (Spain), Festival ‘Musique à la source’ at Chaudfontaine (Belgium), Portenkirche Fürstenzell (Germany), Veladas Musicales Baeza (Spain), Festival Internacional de Música La Rambla (Spain), Hidalgo Conservatory of Malaga (Spain). Maclé duo plays in Madrid, Bordeaux, Sofia, New York. It is Member of the ISCM (Italian Society of Contemporary Music), it represents Italy in the association temp’óra and takes part in international meetings to promote new music.
In 2011 Annamaria Garibaldi was the artistic director of the Classic Music Festival “Vagli Sonori. Colloqui musicali estivi”, organized by the Culture department of the Municipality of Lamezia Terme to revitalize the historical center of the town.
Since 2011 Annamaria is the artistic director of the Municipal Institution of Music “Fedele Fenaroli” of Lanciano (Ch).
